I'm working on a nice long recap of the cruise, but in the meantime, here are some more pictures. This batch is from Split, Croatia:
The coastline reminded me a bit of Monaco or the south of France...
The view from our ship...
Mom and me...
Cindy and Nick...
I don't know who this guy was, exactly, but Rick nicknamed him Dumbledore... (and he DOES rather look like he's about to cast a spell...)
Guess what this is... it looks sort of like marble, right? Nope -- it's slabs of frozen fish... ick... This guy was taking them out of the back of his car (they weren't even in a box or wrapped in anything -- just laying right in the back of the car) and stacking them directly on the pavement...
Wandering through Diocletian's palace/souvenir shop...
In a courtyard of the palace...
Rick and I were being silly on the tender back to the ship...
Rick on the balcony...
And me on the balcony...

That's the statue of Gregory of Nin (Grgur Ninski) by Ivan Meštrović.
You should have rubbed his toe. It's good luck.
Looks like an amazing adventure. I'm jealous.
Ah, thanks! You know, it's funny, because I remember thinking his foot DID look a little shiny and worn, and I wondered if this was one of those "rub for good luck" statues. I guess I'll have to go back some day... :)
Hey, that's good to know who that guy is. I took a picture of his foot, but didn't think to rub his toe.
